A Dream Built on Family and Flavor
Back in 2008, we took a leap of faith. While my husband was deployed, my mother-in-law and I decided to invest our savings into something we truly loved—cooking. We opened Tico’s Mex Mex Grill in Watertown, NY, with the simple goal of sharing authentic Mexican food with our community. It wasn’t easy, but every dish we made, every customer we met, and every lesson we learned shaped who we are today.
A New Chapter with Even More to Offer
When my husband retired from the military in 2009, he joined me in the kitchen, and together, we built something special. In 2016, we moved to a new location and took on a new challenge—combining Mexican and Italian flavors under one roof. That’s how Primos de Tico’s Grill and Bar was born. We had a few bumps in the road, but through hard work and support from our customers, we made it work.
Expanding the Family Tradition
In 2020, we opened a second location, Tico’s Mex Mex Grill in Chaumont, NY, focusing purely on Mexican cuisine. It’s been an incredible journey, and we are grateful every day for the people who walk through our doors. We know that a restaurant is more than just food—it’s about creating a place where people feel at home.
